Do I have to pay a fee to apply with Staffing Specifix?
No. Unlike other staffing firms, you do not have to pay us a fee to apply with us and you do not have to pay us a fee if we find you employment.
What is required to apply with Staffing Specifix?
We require all of our associates:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Complete an online application.
- Show proper documentation as listed on the I-9 form.
- Pass E-Verify.
Does Staffing Specifix E-Verify all their associates?
Yes, we do. The Department of Homeland security claims that E-Verify is the best means available to verify employment eligibility of newly hired employees. Is there a minimum age to work at Staffing Specifix?
Yes, there is. 18 years of age.
After I complete an online application, how soon will a Staffing Specifix representative get back to me?
If you completed an online application during our business hours, one of our representatives will contact you on the same day.
If you completed an online application during our non-operational hours, one of our representatives will contact you on the next business day.
What type of positions do you have available?
Does Staffing Specifix offer only temporary positions?
No, we do not. While some of our positions are temporary in nature, we also offer temp to hire and direct placements.
How often do I get paid?
You will get paid every Friday for the hours worked Monday through Sunday of the previous week.
How do I get paid?
You will receive payment by bank direct deposit, a pay-card or a physical check. Your choice. No Cash.
Do you pay daily?
We are not a day labor company. We pay once a week.
Am I an employee of Staffing Specifix or of the client where I will be working at?
It depends. When you work at one of our client companies on a temporary assignment or on a temporary to hire assignment, Staffing Specifix is your employer. Once you become a direct hire at one of our client companies, then that company is your employer.
Can Staffing Specifix skill market me?
Yes, we can. If we do not have a position open that suits your skill set or what you are looking for, we will reach out to our clients and market you.
What is the employee portal?
This is an electronic gateway to a collection of digital files and information accessible to you regarding your employment with us. It allows you to make changes on your W-4 and it will have a copy of the employee handbook.
